Public Services Operations Assistant/Deputy Clerk 2
The City of Alma is currently seeking a Public Services Operations Assistant/Deputy Clerk 2. Under the supervision of the Public Services Director, performs administrative, secretarial, and clerical tasks such as word processing, records management, data entry, customer service, confidential assignments and other activities. Under the Direction of the City Clerk, assists in the preparation, processing and maintenance of official City documents and municipal elections, assists with processing and maintenance of cemetery records, performs related duties as required.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, three or more years of experience in an office setting performing administrative or clerical duties, excellent customer service skills, general knowledge of policies, procedures and regulations of Municipal Government. Certification as a Notary Public preferred.
The starting wage is $31,924-$40,035 annually. The City offers a competitive benefits package.
