Riverside Cemetery

Riverside Cemetery is located on the south side of the Pine River, directly adjacent to Pine River Park.

The Cemetery Office address is 800 Washington St., Alma, MI 48801. Mailed correspondence should be addressed to 525 E. Superior Street, Alma, MI 48801.

Office hours are Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Cemetery lots can be purchased at the Alma Municipal Building through the City Clerk's office. To set an appointment to look at cemetery lots, please contact the Deputy City Clerk at (989)463-9517 or the Cemetery Sexton at (989)463-8339. There is available space in the Columbarium.

The cemetery allows the ground interment of ashes and full burial interment. The chapel is available upon request. Graveside services are permitted year round; however, weather and ground conditions may require the use of the chapel.
