ZONE 1:
Within the City of Alma service hours are from 7:00am to 8:00pm Monday through Friday. Adult Fare is $2.00, Junior Fare is $1.50, and Senior/Reduced Fare is $1.00. Gold Card people ride for free!
ZONE 2:
City of St. Louis and Pine River Township service hours are from 9:00am to 8:00pm Monday through Friday. Adult and Junior Fare is $3.00, Senior/Reduced Fare is $1.50, and Gold Card holders Fare is $1.00.
GIHN, PINE VILLA, MEIJER, WALMART (GPMW):
Alma Transit makes hourly stops starting at Gratiot Integrated Health Network on the hour starting at 9:00am. We stop at the Pine Villa Apartments 5 minutes after the hour, then onto Meijer at quarter after the hour and Walmart 20 minutes after the hour. Please look for one of our buses or vans at the grocery door side of Meijer and Walmart.
The mission of the Alma Transit Center is to build a community transit system that emphasizes managing the mobility needs of all people in the most efficient manner possible. We strive to achieve high customer satisfaction through our relationships and understand we do more than just give people a ride.
Brett Baublitz is the Director for the Alma Transportation Center. He was appointed to the position in May 2018. Baublitz graduated from Ithaca High School in 1990, and Lansing Community College in 1992 with an associate degree in business administration with a criminal justice focus. After graduation, Baublitz was hired into the Gratiot County Sheriff's Office where he served for 25 years. The last 7 years he served as the Jail Administrator. He's excited to work for the City of Alma, and is looking forward to many more years here.
